1. Scope and operator
This policy explains how ROKGG (the “operator”) handles information in the MoveCut mobile app. MoveCut turns workout photos and details into image cards.
Operator and privacy contact: ROKGG · c335544@gmail.com
2. Data handled on your device
MoveCut has no registration, login, account sync, advertising, analytics SDK, or operator-run server upload. The app processes the following information locally when you choose or enter it:
| Information | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Photos you select or take | Create and edit cards | MoveCut’s on-device app storage |
| Activity, date, time, distance, and note | Display your card and library entry | MoveCut’s on-device app storage |
| Template, aspect ratio, colors, crop, and zoom | Restore your edit | MoveCut’s on-device app storage |
| App preferences and local record identifiers | Remember settings and distinguish records | MoveCut’s on-device app storage |
MoveCut may resize a selected photo into an app-managed copy for editing. It does not upload your photos, workout details, finished cards, or photo EXIF metadata to the operator.
3. Permissions and choices
Camera access is requested only when you choose to take a photo. Photo selection uses the operating system’s photo picker. Saving a finished card may request permission to add it to your photo library, depending on your device and operating system.
MoveCut does not use the microphone, contacts, precise location, or advertising tracking. If you decline a permission, you can continue using features that do not need it. You can change permissions at any time in your device settings.
4. Storage, saving, and sharing
Saving a card inside MoveCut stores an app-managed photo copy, card image, and edit details on your device. Deleting an entry from My Cards also asks the app to delete its related app-managed files.
If you save a finished PNG to Photos, that file is separate from MoveCut’s library. Delete it in the Photos app if you no longer want it. If you choose Share, MoveCut passes only the finished image to the operating system share sheet and the app you select. The recipient app’s privacy policy applies after sharing.
5. App stores, device backups, and this website
MoveCut does not send app content to advertising or analytics services. Apple or Google may separately process purchase, installation, update, security, and purchase-restoration information under their own privacy policies.
Your operating system and Apple iCloud or Google account settings may include MoveCut data in a device backup. The operator cannot access those backups. Backup availability, retention, and deletion are controlled by your device and backup provider.
This policy and the support page are hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical logs, such as an IP address, to deliver and secure the website. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement and GitHub Pages data collection notice. These pages do not include visitor analytics scripts.
6. Retention and deletion
MoveCut keeps local photos, cards, workout details, and preferences until you delete a record, clear app data, or delete the app. Copies saved to Photos, included in a device backup, or sent to another app must be deleted through that photo library, backup service, or recipient app.
The operator cannot look up or delete information stored only inside the app because it is never received by the operator. You may revoke camera or photo access in device settings at any time.
7. Your rights and contact
If you email support, the operator receives your email address and message to answer your request. You may ask to access, correct, or delete that correspondence when no legal retention duty applies. Contact c335544@gmail.com and include “MoveCut” in the subject.
8. Children and security
MoveCut is not directed primarily to children under the applicable minimum age. It does not ask for an age or create user accounts. Parents and guardians should supervise photo selection and sharing when a child uses the app.
MoveCut relies on the operating system’s app sandbox and permission controls. Use a device passcode and current operating system security updates to help protect locally stored information.
9. Changes to this policy
If MoveCut’s data handling or external services change, this page will be updated with a new version and effective date. This policy is effective September 9, 2026.
